THE LIP GLOSS LAB EXPERIENCE: WELCOME!

Prepare to design and formulate your own signature lip gloss! Follow this step by step guide, and we'll be here to ensure an enjoyable seamless experience. Let your creativity take the lead!

STEP 1

WEAR YOUR SAFETY GLASSES

Gather your Materials and Equipment and put on your Safety Gear.

STEP 2

SANITIZE

Setup your Lab work area; use an Alcohol Pad to sanitize your Lip Gloss Tubes, Mix Cups/Beakers & other Tools.

STEP 3

PLAN YOUR COLOR

Decide on the first color you want to make.

STEP 4

WEIGH YOUR LIP GLOSS BASE

Begin measuring your Lip Gloss Base in your Mix Cup. You'll need approximately [12 ml] of Base. When measuring by weight, you'll need approximately [12 g] of Base, this estimate may very slightly depending on the Base you use.

STEP 5

BLEND YOUR PIGMENTS

Blend pigments together in another Mix Cup. If you'd like, you can use just [1] pigment. Document your formula. You'll need approximately [6 to 8] 0.15 gram scoops of pigment for each Lip Gloss. When measuring by weight, you'll need approximately 1 gram.

STEP 6

MIX

Add your pigment / pigment blend to your Base. Mix carefully.

STEP 7

TEST

Continue to mix well until 100% completely combined; Test color; Adjust if needed.

STEP 8

SETUP FOR FILLING

Place the fine end of your Barrel Filler inside of your Lip Gloss Tube. Use your Spatula to guide your Lip Gloss into the top of the Barrel of your Lip Gloss Filler.

STEP 9

FILL

Carefully add the Filler Plunger to the Barrel & fill your Lip Gloss Tube slightly below the shoulder of your Lip Gloss Tube.
